Donald McPhee – Managing Director
Originally from North Uist, in the Western Isles, Donald established Mardon in Central Scotland, in 1998.
With 28 years experience in the trade and with the support of his two brothers, Cyril & Neil, Donald has grown Mardon to a staff of over 100 operatives. The Company continues to grow and it is intended that a further two divisions will be operational by 2012, to further support the Company’s service provision, across Scotland.
Cyril McPhee – Area Director, Central Region
Working his way up from apprentice to site foreman, Cyril was promoted to Contracts Manager in 2003, Director in 2005 and in 2008, he was appointed Area Director to oversee operations in the Central Belt. Cyril has been responsible for overseeing a range of prestigious contracts, including an 18 month refurbishment of the Marriott Hotel in Edinburgh, as well as developments for some of the top house builders in the Central Belt.
Neil McPhee – Area Director, North Region
Neil served his apprenticeship with Donald and was one of the first Mardon employees – working as a site foreman in the Central Belt, for several years. In 2002, Neil came back North and started his own business which he grew until 2007 – when he decided to take on a new challenge as Contracts Director for Mardon. In 2008, he became Area Director, North Region and oversees all operations in this division.
